What is it?
HomeLift offers a stairlift buy back program, allowing our clients to discard any unneeded stairlifts within the first three years of installation. If the stairlift is in good, working condition, and it passes an inspection from one of out HomeLift certified technicians, then we will buy the stairlift back from you for a certain percentage of the original price of the stairlift. This service is limited only to our Stannah and Bruno stairlifts, and we cannot buy back curved or customized units.
How much can I get back for my used stairlift?
The amount of money you can get for selling back your stairlift depends on how long ago you bought it. If you decide, for whatever reason, to sell back your Stannah or Bruno stairlift within the first year of installation, we will buy it back for thirty percent of the original price. If it has been between one to two years since you had your stairlift installed, we will buy it back for twenty percent of it’s original price. If it is more than two years old, for that final year we will buy the stairlift back for ten percent of it’s original cost. After those three years we cannot buy a used stairlift.
Used Stairlifts and You
When we buy back the used stairlifts, we hold onto them in our warehouse until we have a client that needs a stairlift but cannot afford one full price. If we have a used stairlift that fits their staircase, then we will sell them the used stairlift at a discounted price. This does tend to be a somewhat limited option, as we only carry a few used stairlifts at a time, but for those who need it, our used stairlifts can be a great option. If you’re interested in either using our Buy Back Program or seeing if we currently have a pre-owned stairlift in our inventory, contact us today.
