Your safety always comes first when we make a recommendation. We don’t just sell one model to everybody because there isn’t one model that is suitable for every situation.
HomeLift offers a selection of stairlift brands and models designed to work on a straight flight of stairs. We offer experienced advisers to help you select the model that is right for you. We take into consideration the special needs of the person riding the lift, the design of your stairs, and your budget.
Sometimes an economy model, or even a reconditioned model, may be right for you. Or, you may need or desire a particular feature or option one model has that another doesn’t. An on-site visit in your home with our stairlift adviser, or a meeting at one of our unique stairlift showrooms is an important part of choosing the right lift.

If your stairs look like one of the drawings below, you’ll need a custom curved rail stairlift for your stairs, or perhaps two separate straight stairlift units. Your HomeLift stairlift adviser can help you choose the best solution for your home. We measure your stairs with a digital stair mapping program to assure a neat tight fit with the rail as little as 4-6 inches from the wall. Some competitor brands use pre-made rails that stick out 8-12 inches or more!

Stairlifts on Straight Stairs
After an expert evaluation of your needs, abilities, and the physical configuration of your stairs, HomeLift will give you a recommendation that includes options on several different models. Each one will include everything needed-in writing-no hidden costs or surprises.
Most homeowners choose a model in the $2,500 to $5,500 range.
Your stairlift adviser will explain the different options and help you make the best selection for your needs. We guarantee every installation, we service every unit, and we buy back most units.
Stairlifts On Stairs With Turns
The best curved-rail stairlifts are custom made to fit the shape of your staircase, and can fit almost any type of turn (including spiral stairs and narrow stairs with tight turns). Many customers choose to add a turn at the top or bottom, to park the chair off the stairway. This greatly enhances the safety and ease of use.
Because the chair mechanism itself can go around turns and up and down different angles it costs nearly twice as much as a straight model chair lift. In addition the rail is custom fabricated to hug your stairs with tight neat bends.
Most curved stair lift installations are between $11,000-$14,000.
You can expect to spend $9,000 for a very short simple run to as much as $20,000 for a model that can span five or more flights of stairs. This is often less costly than selling your home and moving to a new residence.
HomeLift Customer Service
In addition to great product, HomeLift has great people and service too. HomeLift will gladly buy back your stairlift when you no longer need it. We also have reconditioned models available for purchase.
