Stairlifts On Stairs With Turns
The best curved-rail stairlifts are custom made to fit the shape of your staircase, and can fit almost any type of turn (including spiral stairs and narrow stairs with tight turns). Many customers choose to add a turn at the top or bottom, to park the chair off the stairway. This greatly enhances the safety and ease of use.
Because the chair mechanism itself can go around turns and up and down different angles it costs nearly twice as much as a straight model chair lift. In addition the rail is custom fabricated to hug your stairs with tight neat bends.
Most curved stair lift installations are between $11,000-$14,000.
You can expect to spend $9,000 for a very short simple run to as much as $20,000 for a model that can span five or more flights of stairs. This is often less costly than selling your home and moving to a new residence.
HomeLift Customer Service
