How long does stairlift installation take?
Most straight stairlift installations are completed in 2–4 hours. Curved stairlifts take a bit longer as the custom rail is fitted on-site. We clean up completely before we leave.

Will the stairlift damage my stairs or walls?
No. Stannah stairlifts attach to the stair treads — not the walls — using small bolts through a mounting plate. The footprint is minimal and easily reparable.
What happens if the power goes out?
All Stannah stairlifts are battery-powered and charge automatically when parked. In the event of a power outage, your lift will still operate normally for multiple trips.
