HomeLift has been successfully serving the mid south for over 30 years. The leadership team of Alan Jensen, Peppi Leland and Rich Eller are just a few of the people that make HomeLift one of the top home accessibility product providers in the entire mid south.
Rich Eller, President
Rich Eller joined HomeLift as President in September 2016 to oversee operations, sales and marketing. Rich comes with a wealth of corporate experience in sales, operations, product development, finance and brand management.
As President, Rich plans to continue HomeLift’s 30 years of success in providing accessibility products to people in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi. Rich comments “I am excited with the challenge of a small business where I can be involved in all aspects of the company. HomeLift has been built on a great foundation, I hope to continue the growth in the business just like Nashville is growing. I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality service.”
HomeLift Founder and Owner, Alan Jensen, selected Rich to focus on the day to day operations while continuing to grow and expand the business. Alan Jensen said “Rich’s previous experience coupled with his values and commitment to people was exactly what we were looking for to lead HomeLift. Our business is to provide mobility solutions to help make life easier and safer. We were fortunate to find someone of Rich’s caliber to step into this role. I’m confident that Rich will continue our commitment to provide high quality solutions to builders, architects and the end users in our community.” Rich and his wife have three college age children. He enjoys playing golf and traveling which includes mission trips.
Alan Jensen, Founder and Owner
Alan started serving the Middle Tennessee area in 1986 because he saw a need and an opportunity in the accessibility industry to provide quality products and services. He is a big believer in small business and enjoys building authentic relationships with vendors, customers, and employees.
He is most proud of the HomeLift team because they are complimented for being honest, hardworking, and reliable with customers, whether they are a custom home builder or a senior citizen with mobility issues. He appreciates HomeLift being known as a trusted authority in our line work. Alan has a great relationship with accessibility companies all over the U.S. His greatest accomplishment in this industry is forming a peer group that evolved in to the creation of a national brand of accessibility products called Symmetry.
Alan’s leadership extends beyond HomeLift, some of his local and industry involvement includes: Member of Grace Chapel Church; Past Chairman of NAEC Accessibility and Residential Elevator Committee; Founding member of Symmetry Elevating Solutions; AEMA (Adaptive Equipment Mfr Association) Board member and Treasurer; Current board member of Christian Leadership Concepts and Tuckers House; Past board member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life Nashville. He and his wife Kim live in Leipers Fork and have 3 adult children.
Peppi Leland, Owner
Peppi Leland has been serving HomeLift customers for over 25 years. She is co-owner of HomeLift and serves as Vice President. She oversees customer service/support and the financial management of the company. Peppi especially enjoys designing unique elevator applications that enhances one’s lifestyle. “My dad was a Nashville legend in interior design which gave me an appreciation for style and a desire to help design unique, one-of-a-kind applications.” says Leland. Leland obtained the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation which adds to her wealth of industry experience. She can help create a universal design that is both functional and aesthetically appealing. Peppi is a native of Nashville, TN where she graduated from Hillsboro High School and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at The University of Alabama. Peppi enjoys golf, outdoor adventures, and her English Cream Golden Retriever Gracie.
Sales and Marketing Team
David Hood, Sales
David has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years. He has the keen ability to look at a residential or commercial job and determine with confidence the best locations for elevators, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts and other accessibility products. Helping people find a safe and secure solution to their lift needs at a reasonable price and in a timely manner pleases David tremendously. He puts his BS in Human Resources to work every day in dealing with customers as he is continually being complimented on being prompt, timely and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. You’ll enjoy getting to know David. David lives on a farm with his wife and two teenage sons.
Scott Piskie, Sales
He has done it all! During Scott’s 14 years with HomeLift, he has been in installation, project management,and managing and scheduling crews. He has spent the last 3 years in sales and has put elevators in two different five story castles right here in Tennessee. Scott really likes coming up with the best solution for people’s home or business and has consistently been one of the top producers. He enjoys a challenge, especially retrofitting an elevator into an existing home. Scott has spent his life around construction and knows what product is going to work best in each individual project and manages them with precision.
Robert McCarthy, Sales
Robert has been with HomeLift 13 years and still enjoys helping people find the best solution to meet their needs. “Many times, customers can no longer get from point A to point B in their home and I evaluate where we can best provide a lift solution,” shared Robert. Over the years, Robert has developed new territories into West Tennessee and Mississippi. He has been a top producer for many of those 13 years and customers appreciate his thoroughness, his follow-through and are very happy with his work. Robert has been married for 26 years with two adult children. He loves to kayak and water ski and being outdoors.
Patty Eller, Director of Marketing
Patty joined the HomeLift team to assist with marketing, staffing and special projects. She has many years of experience in sales, fundraising, leadership, marketing and staffing. Patty is married to HomeLift’s president, Rich Eller. She has three children and two grand-children. When not working at HomeLift, Patty enjoys golf, tennis and woodworking.
Darcy Fox, Sales
Darcy joined HomeLift to develop the East Tennessee territory. With over ten years of experience in sales, and another ten plus years working in sales for education technology and staffing, Darcy is excited to be on the HomeLift team. “I’ve worked with customers and clients for over 25 years in some type of sales process. I find the customer interaction to be the most rewarding when you can exceed their expectations,” shares Darcy. Married with three children, Darcy enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling with her family. She is also actively involved in Tennessee State Soccer and youth sports.
Jodi Smith, Sales
Jodi has been in sales for the past 23 years, taking a short window of time off to raise her children. Jodi was hired to develop the central Alabama territory for HomeLift. She resides in Birmingham with her husband and three children. From working in the Medical industry for 11 of those years, to now with HomeLift, Jodi loves getting to know people and helping them find a solution to their needs. From her years working in the medical industry she gained valuable insight that will help her at HomeLift. Jodi is excited to be a part of the HomeLift team.
