Our Guide to Curved Stairlifts
Everyone’s needs are unique, and HomeLift strives to meet your mobility needs. While straight stairlifts are common, they don’t work for every household. HomeLift carries a selection of curved stairlifts that are all custom-made for your home. Curved stairlifts may be more costly than the standard straight stairlift, but they more than make up for it with their functionality and versatility. Curved stairlifts are an excellent option for people who cannot fit a straight stairlift in their home but don’t want to move to an unfamiliar space.
Most of the straight stairlifts we carry have a curved counterpart, often maintaining the best features from the straight stairlifts. The Stannah 260 has the same incredibly comfortable chair as the Stanna Siena, offering the same range of customization and safety features. The biggest difference can be seen on the track. The Stannah 260 can be installed on either side of the staircase, either on the wall or handrail, to blend this stairlift seamlessly into your home in a way that makes sense for your household. The Stannah 260 also offers a lifetime warranty on the motor and gearbox and the industry-standard 2-year warranty on parts and labor.
The Bruno Elite curved stairlift is our more luxurious option for curved stairlifts. Bruno Elite also has the highest weight capacity for our curved stairlifts, topping out at 400 lbs. This model also offers standard and larger sizes for the seat and footrest, making this stairlift suitable for most body types. The Bruno Elite also provides a control panel in the chair’s armrest and two wireless remotes, making it easy to transport objects between stories. Not only does the Bruno Elite offer an incredibly comfortable stairlift, but it also offers dependability with backup battery power to ensure mobility even when the power is out. Another unique feature of the Bruno Elite is the mid-park and charge station for staircases with middle landings. This is ideal for homes with more than two stories.
These curved stairlifts all offer incredible features, but only you know what is best for you. If you’re unsure, our mobility solutions experts offer free in-home consultations and estimates.
