The Ascenda is installed in the middle of a home, not in a purpose-built shaft or mechanical room, so how it sounds, how it feels to ride, and how it behaves when it’s not in use all matter. The cab is glazed on three sides, so riders stay visually connected to the surrounding room throughout every trip. For homeowners who find fully enclosed spaces uncomfortable, that’s not a cosmetic detail. The EcoSilent 2.0 screw drive runs quietly enough that the elevator won’t be the loudest thing on the floor it opens into. A fold-down seat handles comfort during travel, and two wireless remotes let riders call the elevator from either floor without being at the landing.

The Ascenda operates on hold-to-run controls: the elevator moves when the button is pressed and stops the moment it’s released. When the elevator is parked at the lower landing, a self-closing safety hatch automatically covers the upper floor opening so the space stays fully walkable for everyone else in the household. Top and bottom safety pans stop travel instantly if anything is detected in the path. Battery lowering operation brings the elevator safely to the nearest floor during a power outage, and a Manual Lowering System provides redundant emergency descent. The Silver Service Contract covers labor only with the same annual service structure. Both plans keep your Ascenda on a consistent maintenance schedule with the same technicians who installed it.
