The inline gear drive elevator is the MRL elevator option for homes without machine room space, with the drive mounted inside the hoistway on a 20-amp circuit and a pitless option available for slab conditions that can’t support a standard pit. Hydraulic requires a separate machine room and a 30-amp circuit but delivers the quietest ride of the two. Whichever system we install, every Symmetry Residential we put in ships with emergency battery-operated lowering, COP and hall station digital position indicators, custom wood sills, energy-efficient LED lighting, and the S.M.A.R.T. System running continuous self-diagnostics and broadcasting fault codes to the controller, hall stations, and car operating panel.
We build every cab in real wood in the species and stain you specify, including Maple, Cherry, Walnut, and White Oak, with panel styles from flat to shaker to raised. Stain, ceiling treatment, car operating panel finish, handrail, and hardware are all configured to your spec, and flooring arrives unspecified so each landing can match the adjacent room.
