When we install the Symmetry Dream, every major interior element is open for customization: wood species, finish method, flooring, panel pattern, panel frame color, and ceiling style. Wood arrives unfinished so your contractor can stain, seal, or paint the cab walls to match the surrounding millwork. Flooring isn’t specified so each landing can match the adjacent room’s existing floors. The Dream Panel anchors the cab’s visual identity at the wall opposite the entrance, giving architects and designers a clear focal point to coordinate the rest of the interior around.

13 Edge-Lit Dream Panels With COP-Controlled LED Lighting

Every Symmetry Dream we install comes with LED lighting built into the cab as a standard feature, not an upgrade. Dream Panels are available in 13 distinct patterns, including Relleaqua, Glacier, Imperial Marble, Cobalt Blue, and Venetian, each softly backlit with LED edge lighting that casts a warm, centered glow inside the cab. Panel frames come in Signal White, Oriental Grey Beige, and Graphite Black. Cab lighting connects to the Car Operating Panel so passengers can adjust brightness on every trip. For homeowners who want to go further, we also install the Dream+, which adds a mirror ceiling and Asterix-inspired illuminated panel for additional depth and brightness.

Gold and Silver Service Contracts for Every Symmetry Install
HomeLift offers two post-installation service plans for every Symmetry elevator we install. The Gold Service Contract covers parts and labor, including door operators, push buttons, batteries, and circuit boards, with three annual service calls and a four-business-day response guarantee. The Silver Service Contract covers labor only with the same annual service structure. Both plans keep your Dream on a preventive maintenance schedule serviced by the same technicians who installed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Symmetry Dream require a dedicated machine room?

It depends on the drive type. Hydraulic configurations require a dedicated machine room. Inline gear drive (IGD) may not, depending on jurisdiction. HomeLift works through that determination with your build team and local code authority before installation planning begins.

How does the LED lighting system work inside the Dream cab?

The Dream is a Home Elevator Designer Cab Package with LED lighting integrated throughout the cab as a standard feature. Each Dream Panel pattern is softly edge-lit with LEDs that cast a warm, centered glow at the wall opposite the entrance. Cab brightness is controlled directly from the Car Operating Panel, so passengers can adjust lighting during every trip without a separate control.

Does the Dream require a hoistway, or are shaftless options available?

The Dream requires a fully framed hoistway, a pit, and the minimum headroom outlined in the specs above. For homeowners whose project can’t accommodate those requirements, a Symmetry shaftless elevator isn’t a separate Dream configuration. It’s a different product category entirely. HomeLift installs shaftless models built specifically for homes where traditional hoistway construction isn’t practical. We can help you identify which direction fits your project before any structural decisions are made.

Does drive system selection affect the available cab finishes?

No. The inline gear drive and hydraulic options share the same cab dimensions and hoistway footprint, so every interior finish option, wood species, Dream Panel pattern, ceiling style, and flooring, is available regardless of which drive system your project requires. Drive selection comes down to your electrical infrastructure, jurisdiction requirements, and machine room configuration, not the finish package.
